Clean out your craft drawers and bring your “found objects” to the Maker Faire Swatch-O-Rama  for free trade! It could be fabric of any kind, glue, yarn, needles or other tools, buttons, paper, stamps, or any similar whatnots or doodads. Bring yours to the Faire and swap a swatch or something for making your next project, then let us know by showing it off at next year’s Faire!!!

Purchase tickets online in advance and SAVE!!!  Tickets available via Eventbrite, or for a little more at the door with cash or credit (MasterCard, VISA, Discover.)

Tickets in Advance:

$8 (adults 15+), $5 (youth 5-14), free (kids 0-4) or $24 – Family Ticket Package (up to 2 adults & 2 youth)

Tickets at the Door:

$10 (adults 15+), $7 (youth 5-14), free (kids 0-4) or $30 – Family Ticket Package (up to 2 adults & 2 youth)

Volunteer for a shift and receive a free T-shirt & event entry the day of your shift!

BIKE

RIDE YOUR BIKES to the Faire! Fort Wayne Trails will be providing free, safe, and secure bicycle parking in their Bike Corral.

PARKING

IF DRIVING, please use on street parking and public lots. Downtown Parking Makers, please unload and move vehicles out of the primary lot at Headwaters Park East (located north of Superior St. at Barr St.) This lot is reserved for paying guests. Parking at Hall’s Gas House is private, and strictly prohibited.

  • Parking lots just north of Freimann Square (south off Superior St.)
  • City County Building lot off of Clinton

HOTEL INFO

There are many fine hotels in the Fort Wayne area.  Our hotel of choice for Maker Faire 2015 is the Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center. Located in the heart of downtown, the Hilton is one of the most central hotels in the city. Within walking distance of Headwaters Park, the hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle service, free Wifi and two restaurants from which to choose.

PLACES TO EAT

There will be plenty of tasty local food for purchase at the Faire but check out Downtown Dining for more options.

RIDING THE RIDES, TAKING PART IN WORKSHOPS, AND SEEING THINGS WITH FLAMES

To ride the rides or participate in the workshops you will need to sign a Ride Waiver and get an armband at the Faire.  There will be things with FLAMES! There will Photographers. If you are at the Faire, your picture might end up on our website next year. Review the Event Ticket Waiver.
